GROWING TOGETHER - COME GROW  WITH US

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

The United Methodist Church - Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors

A Centenary Welcome to Erwin's Youth

Known as the friendliest church in town, Centenary welcomes you and your friends to become a part of our growing group of students who learn of God's word and develop relationships through common study and participating in church-sponsored local missions. We offer a recently renovated and furnished room downstairs reserved for our youth and other young people.
All of our Youth/Student activities are under the guidance of Alvin and Jessica Casey.

Scholarship Assistance
Centenary is proud to offer scholarship aid to its students who apply and meet the application criteria.
Centenary youth meeting the eligibility parameters of the scholarship program are welcome to apply
for financial assistance during academic years. Please speak with Jessica C or Marvin R for more info.

February Youth Activity

 Rez 2025 Update

The Youth Group attended Resurrection 2025 in late January. They have developed a worship program to be presented on Sunday, February 9th and would love for you to be there!

Centenary Youth
ANSWERED PRAYERS THROUGH THE METHODIST CONNECTION!

Centenary's Youth Group was able to attend Resurrection by the generous contribution of 15 scholarships from the Holston Conference and the Holston Foundation and additional grant money was used toward accommodations and meals during the weekend.
Thank you, thank you!

                                                                                An On-going Fun(d)-Raiser

To support the group's efforts to ease the hardships of area homelessness, all Youth members are encouraged to enjoy a tube of supplied M&Ms and then return the tube filled with quarters. One tube will hold $13 in quarters. Can't go the quarters? Nickels will also fit - whatever you and your friends can contribute will be used to purchase and package comfort-type supplies for homeless distribution.

Additionally, clean plastic grocery bags will be transformed into sleeping mats for folks living in less than ideal conditions. You can help by saving grocery bags from your home shopping and giving them to Centenary for this project. If you crochet or would like to learn, Pastor Linda will be teaching this skill, as Centenary church members will soon crochet the grocery bags into mats for the area homeless.

If you have questions about either project and how you can help, please speak to your group leader.

                           Centenary Youth

This diverse group generally gathers on Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.

Under the guidance of Jessica & Alvin Casey, Katherine & Noah Starnes, Cynthia Sparks and Lee Hughes.

Thanks for all you do to lead these young folks.
