Expanding the vision...
A newly established Vision team has been meeting regularly since Fall 2023 to envision Centenary UMC through new eyes, and to implement improvement plans for any area of the church building, real property and programs that would benefit from a proposed change.
As we actively reach out to the local Erwin community, the committee has been implementing a new Community Garden; installing new playground equipment and seating; and recommending the tear down of the back fencing in order to encourage community members to access the garden and playground. Other improvements can be found within the church building as we intend to make
our interior space welcoming to guests.
The committee is led by Pastor Linda Rozar and meets the first Wednesday of the month.

Where we are headed...
Under the dynamic leadership of Pastor Linda Rozar, the congregation of Centenary UMC has developed a new level of nurturing, faith and outreach.
We are actively pursuing new missions, both local and away. We are participating in the rebirth of community organizations that serve the people of Erwin by offering our time and talents to serve on Boards of Directors, volunteer to meet our neighbors face to face in order to offer a non-judgmental hand, and give of our financial resources to make a difference where we can.
Members of the congregation set the example for the younger folks, showing them the many ways to express God's love to others, to care for one another, and to participate in church programs designed to enrich the Erwin community. We hope to send these young people carrying the light and love of Jesus.
We are committed to the ideals of the United Methodist Church and its outreach into the world.
