As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Sunday School Classes
Our congregation is small, but powerful in doing the Lord's work. We come together each week in Sunday School classes of which there are four: Golden Girls, Spares & Pairs, Adult Discussion and The Youth. If you're new to
Centenary, please visit a class at 9:45 am on any Sunday to find your best match!

Additional Gatherings
The women of Centenary comprise a unit of United Women in Faith (UWF) and meet regularly on third Thursday mornings. The UWF
actively support missions of the United Methodist Church as well as Erwin community missions of feeding kids; obtaining school supplies
for students and teachers; supplying cookies for the Children's Home as well as multiple other efforts to better the lives of Erwin residents.
Centenary men are not formally organized, but do occasionally gather outside the church at Finishing Strong, a community discipleship group.
They are renown within Unicoi County for putting on an amazing breakfast spread. While regularly assisting in worship services and church
maintenance projects, the Centenary men will frequently be seen in pairs or small groups sharing fellowship around the community,
participating in benefit events, all while they quietly go about their dedication to the people and families of Centenary UMC.
Centenary's Youth are constantly on the go as they are busy pitching in with church projects, both inside and outside the
church building. They serve as acolytes during Sunday services and conduct an annual worship service in the sanctuary. They assist
Pastor Linda with the Traveling Library and have, since its inception, provided valuable time and talent to the Community Garden.
Our kids enjoy regular fun outings as a group and welcome newcomers!
